In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (“the Law”), Industrias AlEn S.A. de C.V., its subsidiaries and affiliates (“AlEn”), with address at Boulevard Díaz Ordaz No. 1000, Colonia Los Treviño in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, establishes this Privacy Notice:
Terms and Conditions
This Privacy Notice aims to protect the personal data of visitors, suppliers, employees, former employees, collaborators, or candidates of AlEn, through its legitimate, controlled, and informed processing, in order to guarantee their privacy, as well as their right to self-determination.
Personal data shall be understood as any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person.
Sensitive personal data shall be understood as personal data that affects the most intimate sphere of its owner, or whose improper use may give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk for the owner. In particular, data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, current and future health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions, and sexual orientation are considered sensitive.
For the purposes of this notice, personal data and sensitive personal data will be collectively referred to as “Data.” AlEn will guarantee the lawful, controlled, and identified processing of the Data of its visitors, suppliers, employees, former employees, collaborators, or candidates. The processing of Data will be indefinite, starting from the date on which the visitor, supplier, employee, former employee, collaborator, or candidate provides such information to AlEn.
AlEn may use the Data provided by its visitors, suppliers, employees, former employees, collaborators, or candidates through requests, paper forms, digital forms, email, or any other document, for the purposes described in Annex A of this Privacy Notice. For the processing of sensitive personal data, the prior consent of its visitors, suppliers, employees, former employees, collaborators, or candidates will be required. The visitor, supplier, employee, former employee, collaborator, or candidate may object to the handling of their personal data at any time they deem appropriate, in accordance with Annex B and the Law.
AlEn's privacy office will be responsible for processing the Data and will be obligated to comply with the principles of lawfulness, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and accountability established in the Law; therefore, based on Articles 13 and 14 of the Law, AlEn undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality of the Data, as well as to maintain the administrative, technical, and physical security measures that allow it to be protected against any damage, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, or processing. In accordance with Article 22 of the Law, visitors, suppliers, employees, former employees, collaborators, or candidates have the right at any time to exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition to the processing of their personal data by submitting a request via email to oficinadeprivacidad@alen.com.mx or in writing to AlEn's address located at Boulevard Díaz Ordaz No. 1000, Colonia Los Treviño, Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. The request must contain the requirements established by the Law.
AlEn may occasionally modify and/or correct this Privacy Notice.
